For 25 years Milne Berry Berger & Freedman has acted for couples who are either entering into a relationship or concluding a relationship that may have broken down.

The firm’s philosophy is to assist parties to resolve these issues in a quick, efficient and conciliatory manner wherever possible.
To promote and maintain this philosophy, the firm’s Family Law Solicitors have participated in mediation and collaborative legal resolution courses.
Harry Freedman is a Law Society Accredited Specialist, Anne-Marie Doueihy and Daniel Mifsud also act in these matters.
To gain Specialist Accreditation, a lawyer must study and pass an exam, as well as other testing. To keep the accreditation, every year the specialist must complete 10 units of Continuing Legal Education in the area of speciality, in addition to the 10 required for their Practising Certificate, and maintain a “substantial involvement” in the area.
We ensure that we are up to date with the most recent changes in Legislation including the recent amendments to the Family Law Act incorporating laws relating to de facto relationships.
